Barranco del Infierno walking trail - Adeje

350 metres above the sea level, the trail starts at a natural balcony with magnificent views of the secenery. Against the backdrop of the village of Adeje, hikers will come across a wide variety of plant and animal species, some of which are endemic to the island of Tenerife. Some of them are unique species that have found their final refuge in the Barranco del Infierno.

Capacity : maximum 300 people a day.

Opening Time: everyday from 8:30 to 19:00. The last entrance will be at 14:30. It is open all year according to the weather conditions.

Price: 12€ per person. Children under 12 get 50% discount. Residents 5,50€.

Difficulty : medium / high.

If you suffer from giddiness, you can have the symptoms somewhere in the track.

Duration : 3 ,5 hours (go & return). 6’5 kilometers.

Shoes : Trekking Shoes. Sandals are not allowed.

How can you get there? :

By Bus: f rom the tourist area, you have to take the bus nº 4 16, 417 or 4 73 direction to the Village of Adeje. The journey is 15 minutes. When the bus arrives to the Village of Adeje, you have to get down at Avda. La Constitución (Bus 416) or at Correos (Bus 417, 473) ” (Post Office). From then, it is all easily indicated to the Barranco del Infierno.

By Car: You have to take the Motorway TF1 Adeje-Guía de Isora. After 10 minutes driving, you have to take the exit to “Adeje”.
