San Juan de la Rambla

Important archaeological remains have been found in Risco de El Masapé and Barranco de Poncio "One of the most important cultural assets of this town is the historic town centre, made up of many old houses, many of them from the 18th century, that lend a special charm and flavour to its appearance, and which speaks to us of an important past" (José A. Oramas Luis).

The finest of the religious buildings is the parish church. The current building is somewhat different from the original church that was put up, due to the extensions that have been added and the reconstruction work that was done after the storm of 1722. It conserves some interesting and valuable works inside.

The other churches of the borough are also worth a visit.
