Artenerife is a crafts company founded by the Tenerife Cabildo (Island Government) to recover and promote the island´s handicrafts. There is an extensive exhibition of local crafts, consisting of more than one thousand five hundred different articles. Artenerife is located in the Casa Torrehermosa, a 19th century mansion that is part of the La Orotava historic-artistic heritage site.

17th and 19th century houses respectively, with an extensive display of lacework, embroidery and Canary Island crafts in general. In the former, Casa de los Balcones, you will find some magnificent examples of Canary Island traditional balconies and patios and visit the customs museum.

In the Casa del Turista, you can admire a model of the famous Orotava volcanic earth carpets.
